(that's not a real video, yet!)
You’re a creative person
You might not always feel like it, but you’re the one that people come to for all sorts of things, including visual content. As a creative person you’re entrusted to make visual content for your company or clients, or maybe even for your own brand, but you don’t feel confident doing it, the blank page of a new document can be scary! Stare too long at that blank page and you might start to feel like its staring back at you, too.Maybe that blank page is scary because:- You lack a set creative process once you've opened that new document, you're not sure where to start
- You’re not 100% confident in the software you’re using, so you end up relying on pre made templates
- Your designs sometimes look 🔥, but sometimes look like 🗑 and you're not sure what you're doing differently each time
- You spend more time looking for inspiration than actually creating anything yourself and when you get back to that blank page, nothing you make seems to live up to it
Sound familiar?
Repeated work
You feel like you’re making similar things and running into similar problems over and over again
Inspiration Paralysation!
You sometimes seem to spend more time combing the web for inspiration and admiring other people’s work than creating something yourself
Stress
You feel like you’re making similar things and running into similar problems over and over again
Inconsistency
Some of the work you produce is great! But when you’re feeling uninspired or in a rush, some of it just doesn’t look quite right

Above – the visual toolkit we made for Elemento Valets
By the end of this course, you would have built your own visual toolkit . A visual toolkit is a collection of all the templates, elements, colours and fonts that you need to create content in record time. The idea is that your visual toolkit sits somewhere in between easy-as-pie tools like Canva and professional tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. It's easy to use enough that anyone can through together a visual quickly but flexible enough to get creative when you need to. It lives in Figma – our easy to use, cloud based design tool of choice.
Who on earth are you?
Fair question! Here are your hosts for this course:

JackJack previously worked as a Service Designer in the public sector, helping local governments to embrace design thinking. Now he's designing this course to make it easy for people to inject a little bit of design thinking into their content creation. When he's not working he's probably cooking up a feast and sharing it with nobody.

CélineCéline is a freelance communications manager working with positive-impact clients. She wears beaucoup de chapeaux* 🎓 including the creation of visual content. Follow her as she learns to create effective visual content more efficiently and with less stress. When she's not working she's probably knitting some kind of jumper.*lots of hats!
Whats inside?
In this course, you’ll follow Céline as she works on a visual for a real client, learning the creative process and technical skills to be able to create visual content time and time again with a repeatable process. While Céline is creating her visuals, you’ll be doing the same - using our downloadable prompts and worksheets to create your own set of templates and elements in Figma that will help you create consistent, on brand and effective visuals. We didn't want to make another course where a guy stares at his webcam and talks at you through his big-ass podcasting microphone - so our course is fun and interactive, filmed from the sofa in our Hollywood studio! (NOT Jack's parents kitchen). Plus we've got those little clip-ons mics they use on TV.What's included:📺 3 Hours of video content to watch whenever📃 A PDF recap of each module📝 Worksheets and prompts to download and keep
